James 3:13-4:10

Wisdom From Above

James draws a sharp contrast between earthly wisdom, which breeds selfish ambition, and heavenly wisdom, which brings purity and peace. He exposes the root of our quarrels as the warring passions within us, warning against spiritual adultery with the world. Yet, he offers profound hope: God gives greater grace to the humble who draw near to Him in repentance.
