About Equip.Faith

Built to help the church hear the Word, grow in faith, and serve together.

What Equip.Faith Has Become

More than a Bible-class resource—without moving the Bible out of the center.

Equip.Faith began as a way to help teachers and students stay close to the biblical text. That remains central. Teachers can prepare complete curriculum, and students can study, answer questions, take notes, participate in activities, and track their progress.

But equipping the saints does not end when class is dismissed. Churches also need simple ways to care for the sick, organize meals and potlucks, gather responses, share prayer needs and updates, and coordinate a common calendar.

Equip.Faith now connects the Word we hear with the ministry we share.

Our Biblical Foundation

Three passages shape the purpose.

These are not decorative taglines. They explain why Equip.Faith joins study, growth, and service.

Romans 10:17

Faith comes by hearing the Word.

Scripture is the center of Equip.Faith. Bible classes, courses, notes, discussions, and teaching tools are designed to help people hear the Word carefully and respond faithfully.

Ephesians 4:11–12

The saints are equipped for ministry.

The work of teaching is meant to prepare Christians to serve and build up the body of Christ. Equip.Faith supports both preparation in the Word and participation in the work.

2 Peter 1:5–8

We keep adding to our faith.

Christian growth is active and fruitful. Knowledge should mature into steadfastness, godliness, brotherly affection, love, and a life that serves others.

One Purpose, Two Connected Spaces

Learn the Word. Live it together.

Equip.Faith supports the classroom and the congregation because Christian formation and Christian service belong together.

How We Think About Technology

Tools should clear the way for ministry.

The app succeeds when people spend less energy chasing information and more energy studying, teaching, caring, praying, and serving.

Scripture leads.

The passage should shape the lesson. Technology should help people attend to the text, not distract from it.

Teaching equips people to serve.

A good class does more than transfer information. It prepares ordinary Christians for faithful ministry.

Shared tools should support real relationships.

A feed, calendar, survey, or meal list is useful only when it helps people notice, care, communicate, and follow through.

The local church is not replaceable.

Equip.Faith supports teachers, leaders, students, and members. It does not replace elders, personal study, prayer, presence, or face-to-face fellowship.

Built in a Local-Church Context

Created by a preacher and Bible teacher for work the church actually does.

Casey Gray created Equip.Faith in the context of preaching, teaching, curriculum development, and congregational service at the Saraland Church of Christ in Saraland, Alabama.

It is offered as a useful resource for congregations, teachers, students, leaders, and Christians wherever it can help them hear the Word, grow in faith, and serve one another well.
